About Josh
Hey, I’m Josh. I’m a lifelong runner, coach, dad, and someone who’s just as obsessed with the why behind training as the how.
I’ve been running for over 25 years. I raced competitively in college (15:28 for 5K), and later found my groove in the world of trail ultramarathons — where I’ve been lucky enough to win a few along the way. These days, I’m more focused on helping other runners chase their own goals, whether that’s finishing their first race or setting a new PR.
I’ve been coaching for the past 5 years, working with runners of all levels. My style is grounded in both science (I have a PhD in chemistry) and real-world experience. I want to help make sure your training makes sense on paper and in your actual life.
If you’re looking for a coach who can give you straightforward, sustainable training — without the gimmicks or burnout — I’d love to work with you.
