About Josh

Hey, I’m Josh. I’m a lifelong runner, coach, dad, and someone who’s just as obsessed with the why behind training as the how.

I’ve been running for over 25 years. I raced competitively in college, and later found my groove in the world of trail ultramarathons — where I’ve been lucky enough to win a few along the way. These days, I’m more focused on helping other runners chase their own goals, whether that’s transitioning to trail running or competing at some of the world’s toughest ultramarathons.

I’ve been coaching for the past 7 years, working with runners of all levels. My style is grounded in both science (I have a PhD in chemistry) and real-world experience. I want to help make sure your training makes sense on paper and in your actual life.
